I have many many of my pokemon on lvl 49.5 because I expected this to happen.
So question is it confirmed Pokemon will now be able to hit level 80? So we are getting higher dps Pokemon/ higher cp?

If one of your lvl requirements is raise 3 pokémons to their max lvls than at the time you have released this video it is impossible to reach for those players lvl 50 before you level increase, just saying.
im level 40 im not even hitting level 41 by the 15th ive only won 13 of the 30 needed raids to level up and still a little less then 2 million xp away plus i am trying to level up slower. i dont need items at the moment i need more pokecoins to make my bag and boxes bigger and i need stardust to power up my dynamax mons. leveling up is more of a hinderance to me right now then a help.

Hey you can also just power up till lvl 49.5 and wait till challenge then do the last power up. It works
When the lvl 80 announcement happened i was trapped at 47 with 2 of the 8 weeks of 25km completed. I had about half the xp needed for 48. Since i had been in the same spot for the lvl 40 to 50 increase(making it at 4am the last day getting the Gyarados hat) I figured I'd push it to lvl 50. I looked at the tasks and realized the only tasks that could cause problems was the gift giving task of lvl 48 and the excellent throws of 50. So I drove to the Mexican border refreshed my webstore to pesos and got my 57K coins for the grind at half US pricing. Spent lots of lucky eggs in this pursuit. Yeah all those friendship bonuses made lvl'ing easier along with comm days(averaged 1M each day of play). Squeezed in lvl 50 two days ago. Coin count now is about 20K.

Maxing out 3 pokemons is the least of that persons worries at this point. We are only one week a way to the deadline
wayback mid 2010's most ps4 games comes with ingame bonus or a 3month psplus sub and a mini manual or sometimes something like a pin or a card but now with ps5 you only get disk and items are lock behind digital download from buying deluxe edition
