I used my golden bottle cap on origin Palkia. Palkia was my favorite legendary when I was a kid. Had a little user remorse when I first used it. Was thinking I should’ve used it on my shiny zacian. Glad I didn’t because I use Palkia all the time in raids and pvp. I’m really glad now I didn’t use do zacian because it’s 15 12 15. I can use the silver on it and max it out. So in the end it worked out in my favor.

Pricing for the Silver cap is way too expensive. Basically, it does 1/3 of what the gold cap does, and the price is lowered by 5 euros. They'd better add good value for the rest of the pass rewards, like Pokecoins, raid passes, Max particles, or storage Inventory.

I dont think its anything to do with normal types. Theyre just identifying which is its regular normal form, as opposed to potential varients like genders, regional forms etc.
Its probably a text string format that makes it easy for the code to lookup stuff like the model to show. So theyre just doing some housekeeping, its just the radar system hasnt been updated to match, could be searching for the wrong text string in your pokedex

i bought the golden bottlecap, its not worth it for anyone considering the silver one, cost basically the same and ill let you know in advance, the pokemon you make 100iv, everytime you see the dumbells next to the stats, it feels like you cheated for that pokemon

I think what they should have done is make the gold bottle cap the deluxe reward but introduce the silver bottle cap as a chance reward (say 10% chance) for completing something very challenging, say introducing a 7* raid tier that requires skill and a group of people, (this would in turn cause a ton of people to do a ton of raids which sells more premium and remote raid passes) and they could also nerf the silver bottle cap compared to the gold and make it so you couldn't stack them for multiple stats unlike the gold bottle cap so you can't be working on multiple stats at the same time.
I dont know if its worth to pay go pass for silver cap, its the same price as a golden bottle cap, if im not mistaken and its less use of pokemon that ive obtained as shiny for legendary and special costume backgrounds. It seems worthess too i dont have a shundo yet but id have one with silver bottle cap which would make the shundo feel less rewarding as if ive cheated, pokemon company could increase the stats for any pokemon that ive obtained if they willfuly allowed us, the item allready exists in the files it coould just be free and it wouldnt matter if the money has gone down the drain.
Id have to look who are the people who get this money and benefit to it, a shitty person maybe who lives on a millions worth of modern arhitectural housing just for few people getting shundos on their pogo profile.
My eyes are tired from staring my life at a screen even if its pokemon, i wouldnt feel any different if my pokemon was a shundo hundo or low stat, its better to just play for your own enjoyment and not give money to those who dotn respect it.
Honestly the price is pretty high for silver bottle cap, but if they were to release it in the monthly Go Pass so we only would have to pay $8 that would be the smarter move. I’m honestly surprised niantic/scopely hasn’t thought about that sooner because people would want that as much as, if not even more than, a timed incubator and would make them a ton of money.
