I made it to level 73 already and I did not cheat. I was made redundant from my job, got a decent payout which has allowed me to take a good amount of time off for the first time in years. In Pokemon Go, I already had enough XP to exceed level 80 after the update (247 million). As soon as the update came out in Australia, I was down at my local grinding spot and spent 8-ish hours doing the 999 nice throws. I finished at 9:30pm and levelled up on the day of the update. I immediately did my first route for the seven days on update day. I was doing this with a friend who has a job. She managed to do her 999 nice throws just before midnight and also managed to get her first route completed on update day too. Over the next week we were grinding together to make up the million stardust, which we did. She reached it a day before I did, on day 5 of the routes, I got it on day 6 of the route. Then we went down to our local spot for midnight on day 7, did our 7th route and made it to level 72. She's slowed down now because life, where I decided to aim for 73 as fast as I could. I'd already accrued 100 shadow pokemon, so purifying them took a little more than an hour. Ironically the purify medal was my 50th platinum, so yay, no longer have to worry about medals for 80. I already had three pokemon close to maxing out, so that was easy too. I then spent 8 hours venturing around town doing raids. I had 150 green raid passes stored up, so it helped clear my bag some. By the time I'd done 28 raids I was absolutely exhausted, so it was then that I decided to buy remote raid passes and did two remote genesect raids. That's how I levelled up. I put in so much time and energy into achieving 73 as fast as I did because A: I had time, B: I wanted to set myself a personal goal and achieve it. And I did. If anyone wants to say I cheated, I know the truth. I worked my ass off to make it. I use the game as a tool to get myself out into the community as I struggle with mental health issues. Do the accusations of being a cheater sting? Yes. Are the accusations true? No. With all the crap I've been through in my life, I wanted to achieve something and despite the odds, I did it. I achieved something, and briefly I was proud of myself and somewhat happy. But then come accusations and it makes me not want to be a part of a Pokemon Go community. The group I was in back when the game launched became so toxic over time, so I've been largely a solo player, but I've made some new friends, including my friend who reached 72 with me. We encourage and support each other and actually cheer and celebrate achievements. We don't belittle those who legitimately invest time and energy to accomplish something as soon as it's possible to achieve.
Why did I type such a long comment explaining myself to complete and total strangers? As someone who worked his ass off, I'm educating people that there was a legitimate way to reach level 73 a week after the update, and I did it.
As a legit player I am about to get to level 72 tomorrow, but I did have a combee nest help me with stardust.

I wouldn't be judging the latest pokemon game considering any issues were likely on Nintendo wanting Game freak to wait to release it besides other delaying factors and if people are gonna influence decisions based on their own decisions then that's on you. As keep in mind for example Scarlet and Violet, had a buncha static stores as did sword and shield with certain areas being able to be entered, yeah maybe with legends Z-A it was intended to have some places to have modeled interiors but being rushed means it was scrapped. Side note, I have yet to become lucky friends with more people I'm friends with.

took two and half years to get to fifty, I think I will get level 80 somewhat faster since I don't need xp to level up just doing the crazy task for leveling up. I see some people are dropping mad money to level up faster or for the spoofers it a whole lot earlier to do since things without leaving their home. it just nice getting level up again. i done lots of trades and not seeing a lot of lucky ones.
