They should give everyone a chance to get gimmighoul, without buying a switch
best way for casual players is just tanking in PvP and its not even close, free 30-35k stardust everyday with 0 effort, followed by playing events like the last Trubbish spotlight hour with boosted stardust on catch where you can get 400k-1milion in 1 hour. Thats really pretty much it.
1.8 million berries fed to gyms, means (Assuming 1.8 seconds per berry like you said) 3.24 million seconds spent feeding berries in gyms. This is 900 hours of time spent feeding pokemon… thats NUTS!

I know people don't want to hear this but GBL is actually the fastest way, ESPECIALLY go battle weekends. Just tank after you hit ace and your good. I did something today that I won't share that made me around 450k dust in GBL. Go battle weekends are AMAZING for stardust. Just tanking nets you 30k+ dust a day.
In short catch everything on a star piece 😅
