Meet Ballin’ the Snowball Pokémon (An applin convergent line, b/w concept).

Here to share a concept and summary I had for a Snowball Pokemon which grew into an applin convergent line based on various snowy themed objects!
Ballin, the Snowball pokémon. The wyrm inside the snowball now inhabits a ball of snow, sporting crystal shaped eyes and a rounded tail. Rolls around to move. It's signature ice type move is Snow Ball. (Applin convergent).
Baublin, the Bauble pokémon. The wyrm now hangs down inside it's bauble shell casing, with ribbons for arms and legs. Baublin is proudly displayed on Christmas trees during the festive period, and can get territorial, knocking baubles it thinks are ugly off the tree. Learns Icy Vortex and Dragon Gnaw, and other moves such as Shell Smash. (Dipplin convergent).
Archestral, the Archangel Pokémon. Inspired by a snow angel and a tree-topper, Archestral loses its ice type and gains the fairy type, becoming fairy/dragon. The name is a mix of archangel and orchestral, with a conductor's baton and the end of one wing. A natural born leader, Archestral are revered by Baublin and can learn moves such as Revival Blessing, Dragon Cheer and Follow-Me as well as the new moves Shooting Star, Roaring Anthem and Baton Toss. (Hydrapple convergent).
Globsnotter, the Snow Globe Pokémon. (My favourite concept of these but didn't translate as well to art and will tweak in future). The name is a mix of snow and globetrotter. The wyrm dragon has grown, with the body now resembling a snowman inside of a globe with a snake-like tail wrapped around the base. The vivid scenery in the globe enchants it's foes, but can have a hypnotic effect and confuse an opponent if looked at too long. A new move Dragon Ring (inspired by the horror movie The Ring) sees the scenery turn to static and a dragon face leaps out to attack! Tail Plow/Plough or Glob Shot could be ice type moves for this Pokémon, and it could learn other moves such as Dragon Tail. Its tail extends and it hops to move around. (Flapple convergent).
Lastly… Neapolitun, the Ice Cream Sundae Pokémon. Basically a big dessert with one vanilla, one strawberry and one chocolate scoop, covered in sprinkles and with a cherry-on-top. Wafer ears and tail. Signature ice moves could be Sprinkle Storm (with a chance for a boosted hundreds and thousands animation and alert which deals double damage) or Brain-Freeze (with the spoon in the Sundae launching a scoop of ice cream at the foe's head, 50% chance to freeze). (Appletun convergent).
I'm interested to hear people's thoughts on my ideas! I'm still learning to draw digitally, this being my 2nd fakemon line, and found it quite tricky to translate my ideas into colour so I've left them as black/white drawings for now. I will aim to tweak and revisit this concept in the future when I'm a bit better at it. Anyway, thanks for reading if you made it this far 😄 and I'm happy to hear your feedback if you have any!
