The bike and open world stuff is such a major turn off for me. Nothing more unappealing for a metroidvania than a vast empty desert; I’m more of a tight corridors and intricate maps guy myself. I’ll probably wait for reviews to find out what the boring desert vs actual game ratio is going to be, hopefully it only shows up briefly in-between areas kinda like a glorified loading screen and it’s not a major part of the game.

The game is looking great and what we’ve heard of the ost is genuinely top notch. I’m so excited for the game. Also, they’ve been doing a lot of stuff to promote the game this past week, and it’ll continue to release, so at this point it’s just dumb for people to complain about that.

if the game looks anywhere near as good as metroid remastered on switch 1 ill be very happy, they havent really showed any switch 1 footage other than the reveal trailer.
