I spent less than $100 total on the front page of this binder 🤌
• Ninetales: Came from someone’s bulk lot I bought on Vinted EU — it was randomly included 😅 LP/MP condition, but considering the whole lot averaged out to about $0.17 per card, I’m not complaining.
• Surfing Pikachu: Pulled it from a mystery vending machine when I lived in Japan in 2021 — $5 (my only hit in three tries 😅)
• Tyranitar (Pokémon Center stamp): Came free with a Pokémon Center order (~$25 minimum spend).
• Palkia: Free gift from a friend.
• Charizard Lv.X: From a childhood tin, which probably cost £20–30 back in the day
• Dragonite EX: Bought it for €40 (~$46)
• Gengar: Picked up in Japan around 2020 for just a few GBP£ when vintage prices were still low.
• Rayquaza EX: Ordered on Japanese Amazon in 2020/21 for $12.
• Special Delivery Charizard: Got it free with a Pokémon Center order in 2022. The bundle came with a playmat and pin, which I later sold to a friend for the exact same price I’d paid — so in the end, the Charizard was essentially free.
Total spent: roughly $98 USD for the entire page 😁
