    I would think majority of switch 2 purchases fo this would be digital. It’s not too space intensive and you have to download it with key cards anyway so why not just go pure digital

    I told people that while dragon quest 1 and 2 were going to do well. The hype wasn’t quite as there. The mao photo spots were great though. The most interesting thing here is crazy switch 2 sales. It’s no wonder capcom is putting everything on here

    DQ3 Remake did 821,770 first week, DQ1&2 did 413,518.

    Goes to show how much bigger a game DQ3 is.

    The big takeaway here is DQ I-II on the Switch 2, which is a game key card, is third on this list proving yet again that the medium doesn’t matter. People will buy the game on whichever platform they play on the most whether it’s physical, digital or game key card.

    I bet no one’s making a “Dragon Quest I-II only sold bla bla bla because it’s GKC” video.

    I realize we’re in a nintendo sub, but the title is opening sales so I would have expected to see all platform sales… which makes this inaccurate at best. I would actually like to know the complete sales numbers for one and two.
