I've lamented how often I don't look at my cards, maybe once a month. So I wanted to bring them out in the open and have them be safe to pick up. I know they aren't crazy rare, but I love my collection and it brings me a lot of joy.
I stopped ripping packs a few months ago. Now I just play tcg live and remember cards I like when I see them there. I recently bought that awesome Litleo for $3! What a deal for such a pretty card.
Any way shout out to the homies feeling the squeeze. I know it's tough to see a hobby get overwhelmed with scammers, but just try to focus on what you love. Don't engage with the hobby in the ways that feel toxic. Go to meet ups. Go to tournaments. Actually TRADE cards with no money involved(within reason). It's really fun. This hobby is not a market, it's a passion that can be full of love and joy!
