Hi everyone. I've added the list of GameCube games available on Switch you can get through NSO + a la carte purchases. This concludes all of the platforms I plan to do at this time:
- NES
- Game Boy/Color
- Genesis
- SNES
- Virtual Boy
- N64
- Game Boy Advance
- Gamecube
Please remember this is a NA/US focused list because I feel like it.
Color code:
- Red = Available through NSO.
- Blue = Available through a la carte purchase.
- Green = Avaialble in a remastered form
- Pink = Available through NSO from a different region
From here, I will be doing the following maintenance from now on:
- Any games added to NSO will be added to this list, of course, or if games being available through sources like JALECOlle, etc.
- I need to make the formatting consistent between the spreadsheets. I don't really like the wikipedia links I got from using that as a data source.
Outstanding questions:
- There are a lot of N64 games available as Playstation games. Example: Mortal Kombat Mythologies Sub Zero, MK Trilogy. However, these vary in content from the N64 versions. Sub Zero has the FMV cutscenes, and Trilogy is essentially a different game (it's not just Khameleon, there are significant frame data changes). Should these be included? I am super undecided. It's a question of Being Complete versus Inaccuracy. Maybe a new color (yellow)? I have no idea.
- I swear to all heaven that my Sega Genesis list of all games is jacked up and includes games that did not release in NA, and also is missing games.
As always, if I missed anything, let me know. There are are more GameCube games available on Switch a la carte than I expected. I may have missed one. Who knows? Darkened Skye, a game actually about Skittles, may get a re-release.
Anyone who has sent corrections in the past, I thank you.
