Naveen and Gwynn is quite the reach.
I'm surprised you didn't bring up the most married non-married couple in the game (imo): Grisham and Griselle.
I say this because with how close they seem and how tied together they are, you could infer they are a couple but also not depending on how you want to take it.
There's also the fact that their Key Stones are both on rings…but they don't wear those on their ring fingers lol and it might be more in reference to Lysandre's ring with a Key Stone on it.
Either way, I like Grisham and Griselle but hey, if people don't see them as a couple, I totally get that, too. 😂
There is def more to Corbeau and player, like
Philipe mentions how his mood increases when player visits
the damn ladder thing, him letting you climb UP TO HIM, 3 TIMES
and a LOT of his dialogue CAN be taken that way…
and i think Game Freak did it on purpose… to like take advantege of the mafia trope, give a lil treat to their HUGE adult playbase FULL of simps lmao
8:35 ~ Those expressions on them can perfectly summarized as "did we just become best friends?", but, just that (but, it obviously opens possibilities for what comes after the game).
I think the pairing that is closest to being plausible, is Canari and Gwynn. Simply because, like almost every dedicated fan, it would need just a word from Canari for it to happen.
But, Canari talks like she sees Gwynn as an online friend ("G-Volt" sounds more like a username you'd make for Canari's online fanclub, than a petname you'd give your lover, who's a Ghost girl, saddled with managing her brother's harem like fighting club).
As for Jacinthe and Lebanne … sounds too much like slav, for me to even consider it!
When I saw Naveen blushes to Gwynn I like ship it!
Canari and Gwynn felt one-sided too me. She view Gwynn as a friend and nothing more while Gwynn have feelings for her or it's just fangirling.
Depends on their future it be unrequited or may become more.
I'm guilty with the Corbeau part but I can't help to simp for him.
Still I didn't ship the characters with him but OC aka. myself!😂
But yeah I didn't ship the original player because of the age, I see the player 15-16 and Corbeau is an adult just short.😅

All of these are fun pairings but realistically there's only one that makes sense.
Protag and Taunie/Urbain are the only ones that have a real connection and you can literally say you are protecting the city for them.
Though I will also throw out Protag and Gwynn, mainly because of how she was acting when you see her at the elevator and the "bump me" scene
Anyone shipping Canari and Gwynn is trying too hard. They’re close friends at best.

First of wild that you didn't mention jacinthe x lebanne i was looking for fan art of jacinthe for something and i found multiple fan art of those two togeteher eventhough i don't really see it.
naveen's fanboying for canari didn't really seem like simping to me if uou ask me itnsounded like that was a reason he hated the fanbase tbh naveen x canari seems like such a bad ship either way i'm more on board with the other two especially naveen x lida personally i think there cute together

5:47 Lol the people saying they're 18 are just the usual weirdos that make up stuff so they can comfortably get off to the kid characters. They clearly are no older than 14 or 15. They are called "kids" and even "children" several times throughout the game. Even Canari calls us a kid and I'm thinking she might be around 18 or so.
Edit: people saying "Lida pays rent" as an excuse seem to forget that this is a world where ten year olds are allowed to travel the world, gamble(in GSC anyway), and earn money by essentially partaking in dog fighting lol.
