Doing another update to one of my first few lines I had made, but much more of an update than my last updated artwork post. Now I know that I'm not going to please everyone, just like when I updated my otters. Some liked the new ones, some liked the older ones, no possible way for me to please everyone, but this is the route I have went. The biggest thing of the whole line in general now is that they are not all just moon bears and sun bears. Instead, each evolution is now a different type of bear. But they do keep the same concept of bears, honey obsession, and rpg/dnd classes. And with that, I'll go ahead and explain each one now
The first stage is called Sugursa (sugar and ursa). They are just a pure normal type. Not a whole lot to explain about this little fella, just a little cub who loves his honey. The mark on his chest is very basic as well. One thing I did though to make him different was pick a color that looked like it could go any direction basically since each evolution is a different type of bear, which is why he's a weird beige color. Some may be able to guess who the shiny is based off of
The first evolution is the wizard bear, whose name is Combandur (comb, command, and ursa combined). They are a normal/psychic type, and they are no longer a sun bear but just a basic black bear. This guy definitely had the biggest change of the others; he now looks more like an elder wizard than just a basic mage, and he now has a honey dipping staff instead of a honey dipping wand. For his mark I chose a star since those can be seen for some kind of cosmic energy which fits for a magic user. And since he looks more old and wise than the others, I made his shiny like a silvery grey color like how your hair turns when you get older
The next evolution is the one that's on the warrior/barbarian/fighter side, whose name is Buzzerkur (buzz, berserk, ursa). They are a normal/Dark type and are now instead of a moon bear, a Kodiak bear. Being a Kodiak bear, they are the biggest of the family tree, which helps with the sheer brute force they have. Their design overall is basically the same aside from the new bear species they are. The mark on their chest is an "X" which also looks like slash marks which helps symbolize them fighting so much. Another thing to mention about him for the people who haven't seen my original post is that this guy isn't in control. He was too reckless and now has a beehive stuck to his head, so the bees now use him as a vessel to protect their hive. Basically a literal "hive mind". Their shiny I just made orange because I hardly have any orange shinies of my fakemon, and pokemon itself doesn't seem to have a whole lot either
And finally, the last evolution is a paladin whose name is Pawtectur (paw, protect, ursa). They are a normal/fighting type and are now a Kermode bear. This design is also basically the same as before aside from the new species, and their mark resembles a shield since they are a paladin and protect others. The shiny I just had my artist just choose something, so no idea if they based it off something, but as long as you can tell it's shiny and doesn't make them look horrible, then that's a good enough shiny in my book
Finally typed out all those descriptions, but I do need to say a tiny bit more; most people know that in dnd, there are several classes you can choose from. So with this line, I'm going to expand upon them even further overtime with other dnd classes. Not sure when I'll tackle the next batch, but they'll come in time. And another thing, I usually post every other week with something, and lining that with this post that'll be on the spookiest day of the year, which I have planned out with a Halloween fitting line.
