This has been going on for three hours now. It was working fine, I closed the app for a bit and now it won't open past the loading screen. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted my phone, forced the app to stop, cleared my cache. Literally everything I can think of and it still won't work.

Have you checked your mobile settings to see if the time is set automatically? This error often occurs because the time on your phone is incorrect.
When this happens to me, I usually fix it by.
* Completely closing the app and removing it from background apps.
* Enabling Airplane Mode
* Launching the app
* Waiting three seconds
* Disabling Airplane Mode
* If required, signing in
* If the game doesn’t launch after 10 more seconds, closing the app and launching it again.
This usually works for me.
It sucks, but at least next time you’ll know how “polished” this game is and will think twice before spending money on it.
