Just wanted to drop by and try to inspire anyone who’s thinking about hopping into the actual card game. Started playing tcg live maybe 3 months ago and attending my first pre release for phantasmal flames really kick started my want to compete. It can be overwhelming and intimidating honestly, and being 31 I felt like I was going to be judged. My community has taken me in open arms and there’s even super Unc’s that are in my league. I’m loving it so much and I cannot wait to compete more. I hope this post finds anyone anxious, nervous or just worried that they won’t fit in. I feel like I belong in this community and I’m loving the tcg in a whole new perspective and aspect. I used to rip packs, only care about hits and donate all my bulk and double rares ect. Every pack is a gold mine now, and always stacking playables to hand to players at locals and events.
if anyone wanted to know, I do play Eevee box hence the custom Eevee mat. And yes that is me on my mat. I had to, and I LOVE IT 😂
Also I do not recommend learning terra box decks right away. I fell in love with this play style watching Emma Hagan rip it really well, probably going to stick with it till rotation and see how it does when PFL is legal.
