My friend’s daughter (8) made this for me at school today and gave it to me tonight when I visited for dinner.
After I first learned she liked Pokémon, I mentioned I was a big fan and actually had a card collection. I got her a binder and filled it with a bunch of random bulk/reverse holo/V cards for her last birthday. Then got her a second binder that she could do whatever she wanted with. She says she will bring cards to school for show-and-tell sometimes.
It just warmed my heart knowing that I was that same kid at 8, except mine was during 1999 when Base Set came out. I remember me and a few of my friends all would get cards and brought out binders to school to show during recess. I’ve been looking at this thing since I got home I just love it so much.
