this feels like the playerbase grew from last weekend. Maybe the good word of mouth is helping or it’s just the amount of people home for the holiday. I was waiting much longer to fill games a few days ago compared to yesterday/today where I can fill up pretty quickly now. Game is a lot of fun. No bullshit like sandbagging in Mario Kart either, just straight fun.

It’s such a fun game I’m having a blast with it. It’s such a “video game” video game. Having fun sitting with it for hours or just getting a quick city trial match in for a few minutes.

That’s why the Europe numbers get posted first, a region Nintendo does the weakest to start the narrative. Now the default opinion is “its failing” and for Japan we can just say “oh just that one region is doing well, it’s Japan!”, instead of looking at Japan numbers first and the narrative being “It’s only selling slowly in Europe”
