Have anyone tried if the charger for Nintendo Switch OLED works with Nintendo switch 2?

It will charge but i don’t believe it will power the dock

It will work to charge the system, but it doesn’t do enough output (40W vs the Switch 2 adapter’s 60W) to activate docked mode.

It won’t give it enough juice. I tried an aftermarket brick with 60w and the dock would randomly shut off. Something with the dock and how it handles the incoming power forced me to stick with the stock brick.

To charge in handheld mode, yes. To power in docked mode, no.

Won’t power the dock. Instead of seeing your Switch display on screen, you get a block of text that asks you to use a different charger.
