Dmax Lugia Quad (Target: Aeroblast/ Hydro Pump) with Gastly



u/xRage7243 and a couple friends of mine beat Lugia with Gastly

Aeroblast and Hydro Pump are required for this quad due to their long cooldowns.

Both AB and HP have a cooldown of 3.5s guarenting that Gastly won’t get hit before max phase.

Any move with a CD lower than 3.5s isn’t possible to be cheesed with uninvested, unevolved pokemon

Future Sight, Sky Attack, and Fly have CD’s lower than 3s meaning Gastly will get hit guarenting a loss

    And here me and 2 friends couldn’t beat it with 3k metagross, 2.7k gengas and 2.4K blisses or around those CPs without shroom even when we tried relobby for better move sets on lugia 🥲

    Thats soo interesting since u cant be damaged u could beat lugia with 4 chanseys

    so this means depending on the charge attacks u could do G-Max like this aswell when the attacks have a CD of 3.5 

    am i correct?

    Is this the same group that did one a few months ago with all Sobbles?

    Exploiting the boss move time to get away with using unrevolved Pokemon is hilarious.
