This is completely unplayable at the moment, every second game lags out because of whatever they are supposedly fixing
Also this has happened almost 20 times today and all from winning positions so little bit sketchy
I stopped playing when they stopped giving out legendary as rewards, yes its there apparently as a chance encounter but its so slim prob like 1% chance now

Not sure theres quite as many cheaters as you might think. The game is just horribly glitchy. It happened in the tourney they had in vegas. Its so funny, but it completely ruined the players momentum. I will say, ive discovered when im battling like outside of my house where im not connected to the network and walk in mid battle, when it reconnects it kicks the other player out of the game….so ehhh, im sure theres plenty of people exploiting something like that too.
if they can fix the bugs and stop letting my opponents use 3 and 4 protect shields, sure. i want the pose and the avatar items but idk if i can handle the frustration haha. i dont think i can get it by losing on purpose right?

I logged in and saw "go battle week" in addition to the free ticket in the shop for the pvp. I needed a good laugh today
Used to play GBL a lot, not so much these days, but as a free to play solo player, a lot of my legendary Pokémon are actually from GBL encounters. Also got 40M dust just from battling, as well as the premium items like elite tms and rare candy. Do agree that it has really lost a lot of it's spark and is constantly broken with freeze and lag. I play more mindlessly when I have downtime these days and just use it for the rewards rather than a competitive outlet.

Makes no sense at all to have x4 stardust rewards at the beginning of a GBL season in my opinion, since you get very little stardust for winning at that time to begin with. It‘s another story when you have already hit Ace

Weve been looking at the same pokemon since 2022 at least. No changes, were supposed to be hype that a bird released three years ago is finally meta and shiny… were supposed to celebrate spending money on more lag, unnecessary updates since there is no changes to game over all, constant bugs, still havent perfected the best buddy heart earning system hearts disappear. Game sucks visuals are good enough, sound effects and music is trash, eggs are ahh totally useless, no gigantimax battles… extremely slow roll outs no point in waiting for things to improve🥱
Is it worth it to use 2 star pieces at level 5 if I intend to play 1 hours of battle league?
I started playing this game mode but man this is totally fucked. Hackers fckin playing this game mode, I have edperienced even 3rd shield. I have seen my opponents gets 2 or 3 charged moves while I struggle to hit one. I have seen a laggy gameplay too so over all this is just time waste.
There is one MAJOR flaw that prevents me from enjoying Battle League.
It completely DOES NOT FIT the style of game I expect from Pokemon go – game to walk you to outside…
Playing in Pvp requires:
– excellent internet connection – with no lags – usually there are problems with mobile/Internet access for example in park or during train ride
– complete focus: to calculate – exact moment to switch pokemon etc not compatible with walking around
– enormous amount of knowledge how to be efficient in fights. That knowledge is external to the game(require tables and calculators etc from outside of the game). The game does not even display pokemon real stats… ( and HP and damage numbers are only visible in game because there are potions of different strength – they are not displayed during combat). That is an ENORMOUS barrier of entry for trainers not understanding why they lose to anybody who follows the tips from outside of the game. This is completely not intuitive why do you want 0/15/15 IV for BGL
And of cause a numerous minor flaws/bugs/aggravated and not resolved problems do not help.

Pvp does not stimulate me. I dont feel good playing it and i dont feel good winning. I just get mad if i lose. Horribly designed

I’ve played every season but one since ‘22, even with the three shield cheaters (that used to be a problem), the horrific lag I experience with certain Pokémon and specific charged attacks, and fought the learning curve to build a meta relevant team in all three leagues. I have my Platinum GBL metal, and Gold in the other two, but damned if I can hit level 21. I consistently finish at level 20, somewhere between 1350 and 1750. Hats off to the guys who make Ace and Veteran. I can’t seem to do better than a streak of 15. I think it’s kinda sad that they’re willing to give away the Pikachu Libre now, but I will collect one for this season. For Ace and Veteran players, what’s the trick? How do you make it with the game seemingly rigged to prevent it?
Yo poke! Just have to ask because I’m curious if you’ve heard or know anything about the issue going with trades. I have two trinkets I used with buddies of mine and everytime we go to trade a specific pokemon its greyed out and says “this pokemon is assigned to a gym” even though it’s not in a gym. Have you heard anything about it? It’s been going on for 2 maybe 3 weeks.
Strong believer in farming stardust and rare candy by winning 2 losing 3 it's the best thing for free to play.
For me it's not about the algorithm or even the game mechanics. 75 minutes every day is just too much for me. Last time I made legend was like 5 seasons ago, just couldn't get myself to doing so many battles anymore after all these years.

I was rank 11, I played first set and won 5 out of 5 but it registered 4 wins, I thought it was my mistake I may have miscounted then played another set won 5 out of 5 again this time it registered 3 wins, I have raised ticket waiting for Niantic’s response, definitely something is broken or cheaters cheating.
