I’m not trying to advertise or anything, just curious if anyone would read my comic if I made it.
I once drew up a Pokémon comic a few years ago. I don’t know where it is now but I wanted it to be like this- MC is the child of a Pokémon breeder and a scientist and has a unique ability to just know when a Pokémon is good/their personality. It’s basically an instinct and has no basis and can lead to funny moments. They would help their dad with his lab and he suggests they go out and find unique Pokémon (I have it where rare Pokémon can be born with different colors/typings called “variants” including shinies and regionals but expanding to random instances and research into evolution of species over time and how current species may already be changing)
They are put together with some other kids who go through a program or just want to be there, including maybe next gen children. There’s the analytic guy who butts heads with MC as he is like a human computer and can analyze a Pokémon’s “worth” by looking at it but MC just… knows. Even in the egg (which is something he can’t do) and MC has no explanation and it bugs him incredibly.
Other group member is a cheery trainer who just wants to have fun and loves cute things. She and MC drag other guy into things by running off and he can’t just leave them.
I also wanted to make Pokémon more “realistic”. Not so cartoony, specifically charizard, and some over exaggerated features on some Pokémon will be reduced.
I know this is really long, there’s actually a lot more world building I left out, but would anyone actually read something like this?

My advice as a creative is to just make stuff. If you’re inspired to create something do it! You won’t regret it.
Creating will only ever improve your life in some way. Whether it’s a something you can be proud of or just something that proved to just be a stepping stone to make something else that you are proud of. At the very least you appreciate the work that you put in that made you better later in life.
i absolutely would, but you should be making these for yourself first. the most important question isn’t if somebody’ll read it, but if you want to make it

Absolutely you should! You’ve got a unique style and it’s important to keep flexing your creative muscles. Not just for your art but for your mental health. At least that’s my experience

Do it, you regret it if you don’t. Even if there aren’t many likes or views, it is still good not only for practice but also for yourself
As someone who struggles doing creative things because i always need some purpose to do it for. Please dont try to find a purpose to make things. Making it because you want to is way more valuable than anything else. Enjoying things without expecting a return for it is probably the most fun thing to do.

I think it sounds like it would make a fun comic, so if you’re able to, go for it
