This region named Kemet is inspired by Egypt because I simply think it is the place I can personally draw the most inspiration for pokemon.
Every city is inspired by Egyptian city (look wise for the most part):
-The one on the upper left is based on Alexandria.
-The one on it's right is based on Cairo.
-The one with the big rock is based on Siwa.
-The one with the tower under the previous one is based on Dakhla.
-The one with the fort is based on Kharga.
-The one just under it with the dam is based on Aswan.
-The one with the two big statues is based on Thebes.
-The one with the submarine is based on Hurghada.
-The one on the right with the big tower is based on Saint Catherine.

The professor of the region is Professor Canna, she's inspired by Cleopatra. She's easily irritated and quite intimidating for a professor which makes most of the new trainers afraid and wait a bit longer than in most region to receive their pokemon. Her named is inspired by the Canna Lily also known as Canna 'Cleopatra'.
The pokemon she's holding is one of the first fakemons I've ever made, I made it when I learned about Gorochu and decided to imagine an evolution line for him.
So this is the pre evolution of Gorochu, Rotochu. He doesn't have any real relation to Egypt but I absolutely wanted to add him in this.
