I wasnt playing the last time these were put, what is the ‘1000’ thing to meld them and how do you get it?

  2. noobkiller69

I suspect Niantic either accidentally turned it on or forgot to turn if off from the previous event.

Love the easy candy since I can just pinap and catch in 1 or 2 throws, hopefully they leave it like this (I know they won’t though)

I was seriously wondering why Kyurem had a green catch radius but I cannot complain. 5 EASY catches for me.

Quick question, how can you get the fusion energy?

  6. jjmitch87

I remember reading these would have their move. Unfortunately I need the fusion energy so they don’t help me yet.

Because of this post I just did a raid and got one (it was shiny too!)

    Thank you OP.

  8. Already have a 3* shiny Kyurem, but it doesn’t know Glaciate… worth the Elite TM? Or should I do more Kyurem raids?

  9. ATEbitWOLF

I’m thinking guaranteed catch rate because I threw several whiffs and none broke out

  10. It was nice to easily catch one last night 😄

  11. Prestigious_Zombie20

Sorry but where do people encounter kyurem? I can’t find it and see friends of mine catching one…

  12. I just fear Scopely will come out and say this was all a mistake and they’ll take back all the Kyurems we caught and compensate us with a dozen nenab berries.

So, uh… it’s past 10 am, and so far I’m only seeing the swords of justice spawn. :S Please tell me that they didn’t retract kyurem until it’s fixed – I was really looking forward to raiding it.
(EDIT: Nevermind, I see one kyurem on the map!)

After the fusion event, do I need to sacrifice a zekrom/reshiram for the fusion? Or just have the candy and energy?

  15. BbamaOarack

I made a post about this yesterday but I deleted because people wanted to gatekeep it lmao

  16. Nikaidou_Shinku

It is probably a side effect of the compensation research. If they “revert” it, they would have to make a 2nd compensation. I would expect Kyurem (and maybe even Reshiram/Zekrom) would just stay as this way until the end of the year

  17. Mediocre-Evidence-15

I honestly have no idea why it happened but I’m not gonna complain. If it keeps up till raid day then I’ll be a happy camper

  18. dandadone_with_life

yeah, after the 10th one-ball i figured it was something like that

  19. iAmYourOblivion

This raid doesn’t drop fusion energy right?

  20. Firetrixxx

Probably to make up for the Dynamax Lugia catch rates😭😭😭

  21. Downtown-Plenty-4794

Out of like 20 raids only once did it not stay in the ball on first throw. Even then was caught next throw.

I am betting and hoping that they have given us the increased catch rates so that players can stock up on more regular candy for Freeze Shock and Ice burn, since both are ABSOLUTE GODSENDS when it comes to catching particular difficult Pokemon (Looking at you Lugia)

Ice Burn is amazing for its help in hitting excellent throws but personally I find Freeze shock more useful. When you know that Pokemon isn’t going to move it is so much easier to concentrate and time your throws.

Both Kyurem fusions and subsequent Kyurem raids for candy are absolutely worth the effort to grind for.
