ive been trying to get a japanese pokemon stadium setup goin, and i get this error message every time it detects there's a transfer pak. to be clear, im using a japanese copy of pokemon stadium (called Pocket Monsters Stadium 2 (not to be confused with pokemon stadium 2/pocket monsters stadium gold and silver!)) a japanese copy of pokemon red, a japanese transfer pak, and while it doesnt really matter, the system is japanese too, so i dont think its anything to do with compatibility. when i use google translate, it says something along the lines of "the gameboy game is too old, please refer to the instruction booklet." for the record, i also tested this with a japanese copy of pokemon blue, the updated version of red and green, and got the same error message. any ideas?

Based on the error and the tests you’ve run likely an issue with the transfer pack not connecting properly. Try cleaning the connectors with IPA on both the cartridge slot and the N64 controller port.
