One day, the Mossdeep Space Center began detecting strange signals coming from the far reaches of space.
Scientists used their computers to identify a celestial body moving through the depths of uncharted space.
At first, they thought it was just an asteroid. But something was odd. The object was moving fast, very fast indeed, much faster than light itself.
The scientists then began reviewing their calculations to see if an error had crept in.
And above all how could this thing be moving so fast through the vacuum of space ?
The computer then began to beep. The object seemed to be changing position very rapidly.
It seemed capable of traveling to the other side of the galaxy in the blink of an eye.
It was now at the edge of the Solar System.
The scientists began to panic it was as if this thing had noticed they were watching it.
They tirelessly searched for errors in their calculations before realizing that the computer itself was at fault.
They went outside and that's when they saw this thing approaching Earth at an impossible speed.
It was coming straight toward them…

Stratospear's presence on the field seems to accelerate the flow of time. (The game's animations music are very fast.) Attacks that last for multiple turns end immediately after two turns.
