Species: The Disguise Pokemon

Within the region it’s native to, Diancie were often valued and adored, worshiped like gods, representing richness and youth. However, the Mimikyu saw this opportunity to adapt to a new lifestyle, with this new lifestyle they became more adaptable and a lot more creative and crafty, using their intelligence to stitch and sew in more advanced ways, also using other material to stuff up certain parts of it’s disguise. Unlike Alolan Mimikyu, the Xelandian Mimikyu has more muscular and powerful arms which helps it to drag its weighted body around. These Pokemon will even use high pitch squeaks and chirps, trying to replicate and mimic the cries of Diancie to attract people to it’s presence

But being a Xelandian Mimikyu isn’t easy, often being discarded or being chased off and outcompeted by other mimicking Pokemon, and ever since the region became abandoned and desolate, these Pokemon were forced to survive and roam the ruins, with their disguises slowly falling apart and decaying. It being a matter of time until the exoskeleton falls apart entirely, revealing the creature beneath it…
