More mildly interesting!
I accidentally clicked something (while taking a screenshot) after completing Hyper Training. The Catch Card, maybe? AR Mode?
Thereafter, every *other* time I clicked a Pokemon in my storage, the normal UI box containing the Power Up button, attacks, et al., disappeared. Which meant I got to see more of the background detail than usual, which I found really cool and I went screenshot crazy.
Tried to capture a few interesting examples in the photos here. Enjoy!

This should be a togglable feature
They need to add this asap it’s more immersive, and clean .
If they took this feature and let it work behind your buddy pokemon on profile page i think it would be a game changer. Sucks my BG buddy cant even show it to others

I would love a dark mode, and it probably wouldn’t be that hard based on what we are seeing here.
Sure it would need some work to avoid same readability issues as Apple has with the liquid glass apparently, mainly because of the text and the background colors are too similar and thus hard to read.
This could make backgrounds much more appealing.

Wow. It is pretty cool! I don’t know that they would do this specifically because of your Charizard example, but it would be nice. Why do you cover the names?
