I’ve always kinda thought that Luxray had saiyan-like hair so I thought this would be a cool concept for a mega. Super saiyans already have an electric kinda vibe going so that part made sense, I was unsure about the second typing but I went with fairy for a few reasons.
1: Transformations in dragon ball give fairy vibes to me for some reason idk.
2: Gives the fairy typing some diversity beyond just the cutesy pokémon.
3: Electric/Fairy is a really cool typing to me, aesthetic wise and just for taking away the steel weakness.
For the stats I initially wanted to make it physical and special since dragon ball characters use both close and long range attacks, but base Luxray is so heavily physical it didn’t work. Especially because I had to heavily upgrade the speed and give it a little more bulk, all within the +100 cap range for megas.
As for the ability, I was stumped on this one no lie LMAO, I tried to correlate to it to saiyans and how they get stronger as they fight, I may have made it too broken idk. I think I wanted to do beast boost without.. actually doing beast boost.
And then finally the shiny is of course based on super saiyan blue. Thoughts?
