"When a powerful Illumise takes over the colony, it chooses 3 Volbeat, and the 4 Pokémon together transform into a single Pokémon. The 3 Volbeat serve Royallise; one acts as an attacker, another as a defender, and the other as a messenger. Therefore, Royallise doesn't need to move around much; it only acts as the healer for the Volbeat that protect it. The Volbeat of this Pokémon are known as Volbeat Guarders."
