For context, I am an 18 y/o female. There’s this new pokemon card shop that opened up near me. Mind you, this was my first time ever going to a card shop so I was quite nervous about the whole thing.
Anyways, I picked this Lillie card out and me and the seller were casually talking. I mentioned how this was the first single I’ve ever bought (yes ik…lol im always buying packs). He suddenly said that he’d sell this to me with a girl discount? I didn’t know what to say so I just went along with it.
He said he’d give me a discount again if I ever stopped by. I have no idea if this is a normal occurrence for women at card shops so I thought I’d share this 😭.
