If you use the gigantamax Rillaboom as a Attacker, you don't need the event attack for it. The gigantamax move is independent and there is no need to use the charge attack.

if they don’t give us gmax rillaboom on the same day, it’s almost pointless. I’m not spending any candies on a non gmax rillaboom until i max out 3 shiny gmax rillabooms, and if it’s not available on the cday then i won’t be powering up or evolving them

pokemon go community thinks IV's really matter. They only kinda matter if you do PVP but in raids not really. Oh and tanks its prefered to have 14-15 for hp and defense.

My son had exactly the same comment about lucky trades, he and I are both level 70+ and the lucky rate should be higher than pre lvl adjustment
Think Rillaboom will be a very cheap and effective grass type, especially since It has it's very own signature move as well as having frenzy plant, down the line as a shadow pokemon it'll probably break top 5 grass types.
