- So the first problem is that they switch places every 30 minutes. So the people focusing only on one of the Fusions would suffer. They have to go on and off every half an hour to finally get 10-12 raids done in order to gather enough fusion energy.
- In that half an hour, there would be 2 different pokemons spawning at same time – Kyurems and Reshiram/Zekrom depending on the time. So there is a high probability that (in areas with less gym/ rural areas) only Reshiram/Zekrom spawn instead of the kyurem. So it would be hard for them to gather fusion energies.
- Also, the event lasts for just 3 hours (Ik most of raid days are 3 hours, but the main problem is that there are completely 2 different Pokemons to raid for) Instead of 1 mon, there are 2 and both of them require different fusion energy with Reshiram and Zekrom also being in rotation. So you need atleast 20-25 raids to get enough energy for both of them.
On top of that, when the 2 legendaries are in raids, why do they need to come back for the fusion raids? Like currently Reshiram is in raids… why make it appear once again to lower the chance of getting a White kyurem raid?
Make sure that I never said this is a bad event, its is a huge in demand event and allows us to get a very powerful fusion. But this has many flaws which can impact it a lot.
*Just to make a note, NOT everyone can/does spend a lot of money on this game to get remote raid passes.

Increased shiny rates for Zekrom/Reshiram, and their signature moves available. Both of these cannot be said about the regular raid rotation

Resh and Zek being in raids isn’t the biggest flaw, you do need them to fuse. Having it only last three hours is the issue. It’s nothing more than the ultimate form of pushing FOMO
If they made the event from 10am-6pm local time both Saturday and Sunday that would be ideal. Really don’t understand these narrow windows they are forcing players to play the game.
Having 1.5 hour to get 1000 energy per fusion, with a diluted raid pool is just insane. Yes for people who have energy already it will be fine, but people who didnt get any fusion before, or live in smaller towns it will be near impossible. It will come down to at least 10 raids per fusion
They want you to use remote passes but they cannot be straightforward about it because of their community community charade. So this is the way to go create unnecessary scarcity + fomo.
The only way to change this is community outrage/pressure but given this is not a debut but re-run I won’t count on it.

So people has to spend remote tickets to raid the one they want.
Depending on the ratio of Reshiram/Zekrom in the raids you might need a close cluster of 5 or even more gyms that you can hit every half hour to be able to farm 1000 energy for both types.
Let’s say you have 5 gyms close to each other which many already don’t have. In 3 hours it means you’d get 15 of each pairing. If only 5-6 of those 15 end up being Reshiram / Zekrom then you might not get 1000 energy for a fusion.
They really should have made a raid weekend instead with Reshiram and Zekrom on Saturday and Kyurem on Sunday.

It will be like go wild where everyone wanted darkrai but 80% were bewears. Well get so much reshi/zekrom and getting fusion energy will be difficult. Probably to get you to use remotes to make up for the missing energy.
Yea it feels like it should be a 10-6 event or that what’s available and the way it spawns should be different. Feels mike whatever you’re after will be an annoying pursuit.

I agree annoyed that its only 3 hours for 2 different raid energies you need. Also annoyed that they added reshiram and xekrom to dilute the chances of getting the actual goal… like wtf
Scopely making me happy with my 98ivs since they’re messing up this event so bad.
Only hope that they would give more energy like Mega Rayquaza Raid Day so that you only have to do less Raid.
Why couldn’t they have done what they did with fused necrozma recently. Dawn wings one day, dusk mane the other day and the gyms refresh every 30 min
As someone that has one other person to play with, but not a whole community, raid days mean hosting a lot of lobbies on PokeRaid, which can take a while on busy days like this. I’m probably only going to have time to do one raid each half hour, which is a bit disappointing when I’m trying to get as much energy as I can
So we effectively get 1.5 hours for each fusion AND remotes are capped at 20? Make up your fkin mind nopely. Do you even want us to do this event?
All you can do is keep talking about it enough to make the devs see that there’s a problem and potentially force a healthier change to the event before it comes around.

How much you wanna bet they still have the screw up with the signature moves for raids that start near the end of the raid timer?
Or maybe it’ll be the end-of-raid-timer screw up where a new raid egg spawns and you get an encounter with the new boss instead of the one you beat? (Beat reshiram and get an alolan sandshrew encounter…)

Palkia and dialga raid day 2025 was 10-5. That was 2 pokemon 0 fusion energy. This needed to be 6 hours with no reshiram or zekrom.
I hate these 3 hour events (1.5 hour if you only need to focus on one of them), wish they would just make it last all day/weekend. Always feels like I need to rush or might not be able to participate depending on if I’m busy at that time. The game should try to schedule its events around our time as much as possible, not the other way around (where we need to schedule our lives to always make these events).
