My husband's company does secret Santa with the employees per branch drawing names from a hat, so him and his mate drew each other's names and it not yet being payday they were both pretty much broke so R150 for a gift was a bit hard especially when payday is 5 days away and the boss insists on doing the gifts.
So hubby coworker made a joke and asked for a Arcanine drawing, stating that it's his favorite pokemon since childhood and he would love a drawing to slap in his fridge with a magnet you know for sh*ts and giggles.
So mu hubs came home promptly thanked down 2 black cardboard a ream of paper and eraser and pencil infront if me, made me a cup of coffee and dinner so I could do a drawing for the next day, I haven't drawn other subjects since university and my specialty is jewellery design not pokemon.
Needless to say Arcanine has had a makeover and the coworker was stoked.
Here is my vision of Arcanine as a Jewellery Designer not an artist so don't be too harsh.
