The change from 100 to 50 pokecoins was becuase at least to my recollection you could hold up to 40 or 50 gyms at the time, or some absrud amount of gyms, so you could imagine if someone 10 stacked and everybody in their group got in and just dominated an area daily. So naturally people would complain and it also gave way to people creating alt accounts on other teams to try and shave and cycle others out. As much as I liked the older system, it was just giving way to just a lot of degenerate gym strats which was unhealthy.
Which leads us into the current system where you could only have 20 gyms at any given time with pokemon in them and hence the 8 hours 20 minutes for the full 50 coins.
Thanks for the info. Yeah we def need more pokecoins daily. Also up the max gift opening. They keep raising our friend limit. Does no good if we can't open more gifts.
Waiting for Jesse and James Team Rocket again, maybe free coins when you defeat them when defeating Meowth.
