This whole line is based off of plastic/microplastics/different plastic pollutions, and how plastic can be molded into pretty much anything. It has a straightforward evolution method for 3/4 of its split evos by simply using a move of its type 30 times. To get Replikin, you have to use each move 10 times exactly. Overshooting will lock you out of it as Replikin is meant to be a secret evolution.
Pellistic- Pellistic's body is made up thousands of bits of plastic that have developed a cell like structure. It can morph and stretch its body in any shape it can imagine. They're considered hazardous as the tiny bits of plastic that make up their body flake off and pollute their surroundings.
Terrifill- Pellistic that enjoy hard work and getting their mitts dirty, evolve into Terrifill. They enjoy digging and will absorb litter into their bodies for sustenance. Despite removing the larger pollution, they leave behind microplastics that contaminate soil and ground water.
Polluton- Pellistic that admire beauty, evolve into Polluton. They drift in water and love admiring wildlife. Unfortunately, they pollute any body of water they enter and end up damaging the beauty they love.
Montoxide- Pellistic that love freedom and travelling, evolve into Montoxide. They store gases in their rocketpack and use those igniting gases to gain thrust and fly through the skies. Unfortunately, they pollute the air with vile chemicals.
Replikin- Pellistic that admire their trainer, evolve into Replikin. Replikin mimic the form of their trainer. They will mime their behavior, and some have been seen throwing mock Pokeballs made from plastic. Unfortunately, the mock Pokeballs aren't real, and they just end up pelting random wild Pokemon with balls that explode into harmful microplastics. Some trainers are disturbed by Replikin and will abandon them in the wilderness. Replikin are always able to find their way back to their trainer as if they can sense them.
So, the idea behind Replikin is that they will use the model of the trainer you're playing as, but with the plastic colors/textures, and lego hands and a scrunkly mouth and the Pellistic eyes.
