On a distant world.
Lived a people.
This people struggled to survive on this hostile world.
Predators were legion.
And the flesh of their brothers served as their feast.
But one sacred day.
A seed fell from the sky into the heart of the jungle.
The natives gathered around it.
A honeyed liquid flowed from the formless thing.
The people were then seized by a strange obsession with this liquid, and they began to drink and savor it.
The beings then saw their strength increase tenfold; they were now able to face the inhospitable nature of their world.
They elevated the seed to the status of a god, nourishing it with the game they had painstakingly hunted.
The seed then began to grow more and more, which eventually gave birth to a singular plant-like creature.
The creature began distributing ever more honeyed liquid to the people, demanding ever more game in return.
The more the creature fed, the more the wildlife declined, while a strange gas began to blanket the planet.
The liquid also began to transform the planet's inhabitants, their fur becoming covered in bark-like crusts.
When the plant finally rose, the planet had become a bleak, lifeless desert, and its inhabitants had transformed into extensions of the creature.
Those who remained conscious then saw a vision of madness in the heavens.
Roots saturated the firmament to the very edge of the universe.
One of these roots plunged into the atmosphere of the dying planet.
It connected with the plant creature before lifting it into space.
The poor root creatures gazed at the planet's surface as the plant-like being dripped a tiny spark from its mouth into the atmosphere.
The planet blazed like a sun before imploding in on itself.
The creature itself became part of the immense root god.
The god then propelled himself at the speed of light to the far reaches of the cosmos to plant these seeds and consume new worlds.

EDAs have a hard-coded rule when they first enter the field. They will unleash a roar so powerful that it will inflict damage on the opposing Pokémon equal to 25% of its HP, unless the opposing Pokémon has an ability that ignores sound-based attacks.

Explosive Gas.
Rosicaä's attacks can release a dangerous explosive gas on the opposing Pokémon. If a Fire-type attack is used while this gas is active, it will explode violently, triggering the Explosion attack on the enemy. Abilities that prevent explosions, or the use of a Flying-type attack, can neutralize the effect of Explosive Gas.
