I drove to LA, bought 3 days of hotel for the Unova tour this year and it was a huge let down. Shiny rates were awful and I got bored. Hope next year’s is better but I’m definitely skipping the in person tour
Another thing to keep in mind is that Dragonite is part of the Kalos Regional Dex. Food for thought.

A night of nothing but mega Dragon types? Mega. Dragon. Night. They're kinda spelling it out there, aren't they?
The Mega Night was already not worth it. Most megas you'd likely already have, and it would be beneficial to the newer players who are lacking a lot of mega options. But they are usually casual who wouldn't travel for a city event. It's use case is a bit strange unless they add a new mega.
It has to be unlimited raids for that price right? It can be that price and use passes.
I'm gonna wager that they're gonna debut mega zygarde. Also dragon type, and (IMO) more exciting than mega dragonite! (Or maybe both??)
I will be in LA again, but so far this Mega Night thing is not worth close to $20. If the only draw is a new mega (dragonite), I can save the 20 bucks and wait for normal release.

Expensive and only two hours, and they’re not legend Pokémon, and you can get their energy at global event after a week, so it’s not worth to buy the night ticket…….
