Which Pokemon Cards to Buy? (Taiwan)

Hey Reddit Community,

I am currently travelling along the East Coast of Taiwan and have looked at quite a few shops for Pokemon cards but I have only found limited stock.

Please see the photos of the limited stock I have found. One photo sells individual packs while the rest sell boxes.

I have been collecting Pokemon cards since I was a kid from 1999 as an amateur hobby with my latest being from various Scarlet and Violet booster packs in 2025.

Going to other cities (including Taipei and The Underground Mall) is not feasible due to time constraints and I won’t be coming to visit Taiwan anytime soon in the future.

My budget will allow me to buy 2/3 boxes (and perhaps a few individual packs).

The outcome of buying the Pokemon cards would be to add them to my collection and keep a few packs unsealed as an ‘investment’ to sell them in 10 – 20 years time.

Google Translate of the text have been unsuccessful so I have been unable to get much information on the cards. I can probably deduce from the illustrations but I’d prefer to be sure.

I’m hoping to buy soon so all advice on which ones to buy would be appreciated!
