Im glad to see its not just me dealing with 80% less pokemon spawning an desrted pokestops and gyms where nothing spawns,hopefully they fix whatever is going on as it started with pinch perfect event immediately when it started and its the worst event shiny wize as i ussually get 4 or 5 at the least, this time just 3 random shinies and no "shiny boosted" pokemon
@poke_ak do you know any info about the bug that you can not reach mega level 3 with pokemon currently? It just keeps counting to: 0 days to go… -1 days to go, etc. Game still shows the pokemon when you use the search filter "mega2" etc.
Do you know whats up with that?
for me from 2-3 at home everytime i opened the app now 0. at work from 6-7 now 2-3. alot of people in my area complained about the same thing. i dont even open the app anymore
They have changed dramatically I have 2 spawns and when those are caught you have too restart game at home ! Uptown it’s not so bad but I get it they want us out catching 😂
Spawn has definitely reduced since last update I have almost no pokemon spawning around me even when I move around, I used to wake up to around 8 pokemon at my house now 1 maybe 2
Definite downgrade for me at home.

The spawns at home have gone down but the ones while out and about remain the same for me. I figure they lowered the spawns if you just sit in one spot (like at home) but left the ones when moving the same.
5:23 I ran from all my Kyurem raids that weren’t 92 IV or 2020 CP or higher unless it was a shiny to maximize my chances for shundo. Got a hundo and 5 bad shinies on my main account

I went from around 6-8 down to 3-4 at home. I also noticed they removed a few of the pokestops around the area I usually play. Nothing catastrophic, but noticeable.
Yesterday there were nothing but pink eggs out 🙁 grrrr
I could get my 15 Pokemon daily task completed before leaving my house, I get 3 Pokemon now.
I work on the corner of Bryant park in nyc so the spawns there are blessed cause there’s one spoofer that clearly lure modules the entire chunk of Manhattan, but by my house I see like one or two spawns per block and they removed the McDonald’s gym across my house which kind of ruined my momentum of regaining berries and balls when I get back home

Definitely a big difference in spawns right now. At my home location, I am lucky if I get one an hour right now. Try clearing an area and see what spawns are like without lures or incense. Obviously places with high cell traffic will be more so doesn’t help there for the case. Spawns are definitely down if you are not in high cell area. Pokémon Go definitely botched something. I noticed they lost the McDonald’s sponsorship too.

They keep moving the dynamax spots to the point that they're not accessible from the public street anymore
Near my home i’d get 4 pokemon in the middle of my screen and 2 at the right side now i just get 1-2 pokemon i used to find at least 1 shiny a day now i’m lucky if i find one a week. I live in a rural area so if thevpokemon only now gather where the shops are i only probably visit their once a week and most of that time i’m spinning stops restocking on pokeballs. If nothing improves i’ll be back to playing only community days it’s getting boring now low spawns means low shinys so no point in playing everyday anymore.
From my home I have 2 pokestops. Each time I can catch one Pokémon. Maybe every 30 mins. Using a lure attract zero Pokémon. Maybe it is time to take a break try another game.
Alot of rural players ive talked to actually have house spawns now I went from maybe 1 an hour to 5-7 an hour so im loving it 😍
Spawns at my house are the same, but the spawns downtown where all our community events are hosted are down to almost nothing. Crazy they would reduce spawns in the main place where people go to play Go in the state, pretty wild…
I've seen many people saying that they have less spawns at their house, but the point of pokemon go is to get outside and move around. That being said, I've noticed far fewer spawns everywhere, even moving around with incense and palkia effect on. It's been bad
my house spawn is only 1, every hour .. used to see 5 every 30 mins.. My park has only 3 pokemon , every 30 min..

The spawn rate in Japan is great! Pokemon would spawn every 20 min.
Hey thanks for posting this! I live in Alaska also I’m out in the valley though in Wasilla. I’m just getting back into the game so it’s nice to know where some good grind spots are in anchorage for when I mob into town there! I might have to come to Atown more often now! Also got a shiny dynamax spheal for ya if you haven’t gotten one yet!
House spawns and grind spawns down substantially
This change has been nothing short of abysmal. Damn near killed my motivation to open this app. My spawns at home were decreased by more than half.
I live next to a gym and went from 10-12 to ZERO. Absolutely nowt when I open the game.
I spoofed my location for the first time after playing for about 3 years because of this change, my house maybe gets 1 spawn every few hours, it started around the 6th, They removed a pokestop that was close to me. If there goal was to get more people to cheat, they got it. I did learn you can buy pokecoins for super cheap through a third party service as well, idk where the money ends up but I didnt hand it to niantic. This update wrecked my area
I still have spawns at my house, but don't see many other spawns in the wild. What's going on?
Error= just normal Pokemon Go
My job went from 8-10 spawns down to 3-4. Home spawns went from ~5 or so and now down to 1. It’s been horrible. Why would they ever need or want to lessen spawn density? Makes no sense
My spawns are down to maybe 1 an hour . I’m at my daughters and she is rural and I mean r rural and handicapped. This is awful. Stop changing. I drove her to a little town closest town and spawns were way down.
