Fakemon

Grass Starter of my Region

Hare Fakemon

Abilities: Overgrow/ Grassy Surge (hidden ability)

Bunleaf enjoys being outdoor for photosynthesis to produce more fresh air. It is able to convert the excessive energy from its photosynthesis into nutrients for surrounding plants.

Though the flowers grown on Bulbunny's body are yet to bloom, they still emit a relaxing fragrance that attracts hospitality.

Fautus exhibits an outstanding swordmanship, capable of taking down its opponents with ease. Although it's commonly seen carrying sword made from a flower similar to those growing on its body, it can turn any plant in its hand into an endurable weapon.

Not a fan of the antropomorphic third stage, sorry, starter evolutions need to stop looking so human.

  2. I’m a bit of a contrarian ig. I don’t mind an anthropomorphic starter. Especially when the design ideas lend itself better to being anthropomorphic, such as this one with the swordsmanship aspect.

Sidebar: final stage reminds me a lot of Alice from ZZZ lol. Probably a coincidence but a fun one at that.

A bit too anthropomorphic to my personal tastes, but I think if it was in an actual game, I’d warm up to it pretty quickly

Decisions while designing a Pokémon evolution:

    1. making a stronger version of what it was.
    2. making it horny.

Fautus, Moewscarada and Roserade would have the best tea

Everyone’s ragging on about it being furry (which I personally have no problems with, you do you) so much that they miss the ACTUAL problem: the first form is literally just a chibi Leafeon. The second and third forms are actually extraordinarily well designed, and you should be proud of that, but that first one definitely needs a rework.

Least Concern Wild Rabbit, not extinct

    Next shall be Fire/Fighting Kangaroo

I don’t really have a problem with anthro pokemon or anthro starters but the final stage feels more humanoid than rabbit-like. I think the ears not being green like the previous stages doesn’t help because I thought their ears disappeared and they grew hair

The design is nice. You didn’t put numbers on it but the stat spread looks atrocious.

My critique isnt that it’s anthro, but that it is dangerously similar to at least 3 different ‘mons, one being another starter in Meowscarada. It’s a cool esthetic, but it needs some originality

I played the demo of miragaes traveler this week. They had the same grass starter. Only it was fairy/grass from the get go. The name is completely the same.

  12. SnakeEatingAPringle

It looks cool but I don’t see how the middle evo can evolve into the final. Maybe I’m just weird. Also, the starter just looks like a baby leafeon

  13. Soko_ko_ko

I feel like the jump in design complexity from first to second is a bit extreme. Maybe the first form needs more details like closed buds on it that will open up to be those flowers in the later forms?

  14. Soko_ko_ko

The last form’s face looks a bit strange, might be the angle or the drastic change in the eye style

  15. I don’t get what people have a problem with, MAYBE the first stage could have something more and look more like a bunny, but all the other stages are amazing. I especially enjoy the middle stage
