You can get to your gym by hitting your Pokémon on the first time you looked for your gym
1mil berries is wild. To the people saying it’s only 30 start dust per berry. That means bt91 has earner 30mil and above stardust from berry feeding. I’m at 1mil and I delete a lot of berries for sure. But when I’m at home watching a tv show I do some mindless task like berries and it adds up.
They still haven't added a feed all berries option in almost 10 years. Mind-blowing. These people are useless.
I never discard berries. I always feed my gym defenders trying to get good gyms for more items when I spin them again. I'm at 179 157 so far.

Bro sure you may have got almost 80 million stardust from feeding berries to gyms, but have you ever worked out roughly how many hours or days total you have spent doing this tedious boring repetitive task?
Let’s assume each berry fed takes roughly 1 second (even though it takes slightly longer than this, plus the time spent navigating to the gym and clicking the pokemon etc). 2,000,000 berries at 1 second per berry is 33,333 minutes, or 555 hours…
You have spent literally over 23 days total of your life clicking berries into pokemon in gyms lmao that is insane dude.
I respect the grind, and don’t mean to come across as judgmental lol, but is it really worth it? I know this whole game can be grindy in many aspects, but this one is extremely low engagement and brainless in my opinion and the reward just doesn’t seem worth it.

I have been doing this for a long time now. But now i finally understand the 10 10 rule. I thought i could feed 100 berries in 30 minutes in whatever way i wanted. Didn't know it was to 10 different pokemon max also.

Feeding berries also rewards so xp so if you need to level up via xp it’s also useful
I think you get candy sometimes when feeding pokemon too. Am i wrong? Can you get xl candy or just regular?
Why is it so important to you that we believe you don't use berries?
Sure. First of, 80 comments in 3 days, things have changed. Not to mention, the map you are showing in this clip is rather insane, compared to what many of us are dealing with.
Even using the Go Plus +, my red ball count goes up, hardly ever down, no matter what I do. A realistic figure is like 300 red balls, and I would in real life never go empty. Since stops and gyms are spaced out, playing "hard" is rather impossible.
As for feeding berries to gyms, I just recently started playing again, having moved here last year. I need to feed the stops berries to get gold gyms, and when ever I do that, I hardly ever get kicked out. It is actually so bad, that I need to be in 12-15 gyms to be kicked out of one every day. That also means, that I need to not kick people out, before they have their 8 hours, as not to drive people away. Not to mention that a lot of players are just kids, and I am a grown man, so socializing can be tricky.
It gets even worse. I have been using like lvl1 mons, as they stay alive with nice read hearts for the longest of time. This means that anyone can easily kick them out, even kids at level 1-2. But, since they "refuse" to drain their heart, people need to go many rounds, often 3, and that is just too much to ask. Just for fun I evolved some lvl1 mons, and boy are they left alone. Like best "defenders" ever. Nothing beats like a lvl1 Gyardos, that need a couple of berries a day to stay like heart high. But then, I just "never" get kicked out.
My issue with this game, is that it simply is not worth money. Not how I have to play it in my town. That like totally change the freaking dynamic of the game. Since I walk my dog, my play is walk centered, and that used to be fine. Used to. These new additions don't really add all that much, as if I am lucky I get candy for a legendary to get it to lvl 30-35. Any mons above 5km walk distance is out of reach, and pumped up to lvl50, they are usually more useful than any legendary. This 3-way split of ordinary, shadow, and dynamax is not helping either. I spent like a month walking up my Lucario to lvl50, but that mon is useless for dynamax.
Not sure where this is supposed to go, I mean this game, but unless something social comes out this this, I doubt I will keep playing this actively for long. I might take a "daft" and heart less gym every once in a while, and just use a catcher to get the xp to level up walking my dog. Get the megas pumped, and make sure I can join people for a raid if the opportunity presents itself socially. But for me, this game is not offering much life quality. It does not even try.
Players like me would love to get 3 remote raids every day, and a real infrastructure to get to know real people. I would also appreciate not having to be on constant watch for kids, given how young many players are, and the hazards that brings socially to me as an adult. Not to mention, I actually want pogo to be a safe place for them kids. I would love to be able to connect with people, and be able to share some raids and remote activities, not just throw money into a dark hole.
Because this is kind of the issue. When I get all these MEGA mons, what am I supposed to do with them? Why pump money into this game, if there is no social reward what so ever, other than a bit of escape and privacy. It is a defacto single player game for so many of us. I can use that escape right now, but when that passes, I will probably join the "daft" crowd.
12-15 gyms to make sure to be kicked out daily, I mean, I don't see myself going on with that for like forever. For what really?

3k dust every 30 minutes doesn't seem all that great and definitely not worth wasting a star piece on. Catching 30 pokemon in the same timeframe would get you the same without any restrictions. What am I missing?
It would be appreciated if you guys who have a line in to Niantic can speak up about the Helioptile infestations that some coastal communities have been experiencing since July. My community is dead, no one is playing any more as 80 – 90% of spawns are Helioptiles during non event periods, and around 40 – 50% during events.
We have requested for supports help but have either been gaslit or told to play somewhere else. Please help us revive our communities.
