I decided to do a challenge in Scarlet using only in game trades or gift pokemon and decided since i didnt need to complete the story to get this guy, unlike the Hisuian Growlithe from Perrin, i figured ill take on the Ogre Oustin hard mode to get it but when the internet says its nearly impossible, its not a lie its EXTREMELY hard on solo and even with 4 player its not easy. I been trying for days, both multiplayer and solo, and i finally managed to beat it solo by the skin of my teeth.
If you want a shiny Munchlax, just shiny hunt one cause its heck incarnate to try get this guy. But at least this guy has its hidden ability so thats somewhat worth the pain but yea, dont try this solo unless you're crazy
