By Legacy, I mean Pokemon that are not Legandaries, Mythicals, Ultra-Beasts, Starters, or Psuedos, but can still be recognized as first glance, like they’re designed to be iconic. For example, Gardevoir for Hoenn, Lucario for Sinnoh, Zoroark for Unova, and Lycanroc for Alola. A regular Average Joe who is somehow one of the most iconic species in the region, that needs no introduction, you’d recognize them along with the starters. This might be because of the shows or movies, maybe the fanbase itself, or maybe it’s just so good that it’s a staple in any team.
