Species: The Hyper Carnivore Pokemon

The entire line idea is that they are hyper carnivorous alloy with plant like qualities. And a play on the term “Ironwood.” It’s designed to be a pseudo legendary Pokemon.
They are mainly inspired by the Shrike from the sci-fi novel called Hyperion Cantos. The Shrike is a metal-like being that lives on a distant world that pins victims to something called the “Tree of Pain” thats made of the same material as the monster where they experience pain for an eternity.
First evo is inspired by a mandrake root. At night the come out and scream in unison at the sky for what appears to be no reason.
Second stage takes more of the form of a tree. But now has a nose that resembles a beak to reference real life Shrike birds.
Final evo fully embraces into the hyper carnivorous and slasher movie villain look. it has chainsaw like appendages it uses to rip prey and enemies apart.
I’m a sucker for grass type deigns and an even more of a fan of creative grass-steel designs since it is a hard combo to design…this looks spectacular and would be one of my favorite Pokémon of all time!
For reference, I love Trevanant! So that sort of haunted or modded tree aesthetic resonates with me! This being a high powered pseudo makes it even more appealing to me!

ABSOLUTELY great job at giving them all different personalities and silhouettes, also that touch of extra color as it evolves is the cherry on top. This thing doesn’t simply get bigger, it EVOLVES properly, also I love the names, mad props!
