When they announced the moves it would use, I was no way in hell maxing out a Gigalith. That EQ was murking all the Gigalith in my party. I maxed out my team of shiny d-max Lugia and G-Max Blastoise and was able to catch a shiny ✨. I’m in Tokyo and it’s only 01:22 so I just went home. It is a beast with that SB and EQ. It can even use Sacred Fire. Also, the low level accounts were making it difficult to last long enough. I had to keep moving since 06:00 this morning. What a headache!
Took in 2xblissey with pound and level two gigalith plus the max mushroom and worked.

Hi Zoe, yeah the swiping between teams doesn't really work now, tap in the corner to select your team now. Rock types most effective against Ho-Oh, so Gigalith, Omastar with rock fast move.
Every time I defeat dynamax ho-oh, it always flees! I used mostly nice and great throws (excellent throws are usually too hard and I do not think my catch chances are any better). Am I doing anything wrong?
Roggenrola was added to Dynamax battles this week, so if you did some of those, D-Max Gigalith is the best damage against this since Ho-Oh is 4 times weak to rock.

I tried 3 times with others and no dice, we where lucky to get it down to half. they should have increased the amount of ppl in the battle to 6 imo due to the difficulty of the battle.

I dont think id ever spend stardust maxing out a blissey aint noway ive yet to do a legendary d max raid they just need to increase the lobbies to 100 just like the gigantamax there's no reason why they cant the dynamax thing is the worst thing to come to pogo its literally the biggest money grab in the history if the game I won't be raiding them because I refuse to power up trash and cant beat them with 3 ppl
Hot take. If you don’t have good dynamax/gigantamax pokemon, then the legendary battles are not for you.
it has been a year since dynamax legendaries were added to the game, and you still cant do private lobbies on these things, despite the lobby limit of 4…

We took out youngest to Greece for a wedding when he was about 1yr old, and the plane really confused him. He ended up just grumpy and feeding almost constantly for the duration.
He was fine when there but the flight wasn't fun (~4-5 hours)

I didn’t have good counters and I still beat 3 of them first try.. I used Zacian, Grimmsnarl and Eternatus because I didn’t have omastar or a roggenrolla.. I also don’t have a blissey 😭 Grimmsnarl died all 3 attempts.. Zacian died once and Eternatus never went down
Edit: I only did the 3 ho-oh raids because I’m wanting to be ready for the Origin Forme Dialga/Palkia and Primal Groudon/Kyogre AND I need to farm more Blaze energy for my shiny 98% Kyurem (also I’m only 25 XL candies away from having the candies to take it to level 50) And I want to farm the lunala for the master league (also I need both necrozma fusions but sadly that’s not in the upcoming event 😢)
Shields draws attacks onto itself. You need to have 1 person dedicated to putting up max shields every time you max out. That person will reduce the number of attacks on the rest of the team. Additionally the only dodge-able attacks are ones that target a single pokemon. The shielder has to be good at dodging the attacks that come their way.
One other person can be dedicated to heals, and the other 2 focus on doing attacks.
