The owners of the toy store I work at also own a card shop, so I started bothering my coworkers for modern bulk they don’t want. (Update: my boss who runs the card shop is giving me the shop’s bulk for this project! Woohoo!) The school my friend works at banned Pokemon cards because it was a distraction, but I found a way to repurpose bulk so she can actually use it. (The cards are a game distraction, but these are just stickers — so she said it’s fine!)
They can still collect and trade the art they like with other kids. I wish I could just give her the cards as they are because they’re young, and they’d still go crazy over common cards (and it would be a cool memory to keep). This will have to do for now!
