Crush Grip does 230 damage, compared to other powerful charged moves of 140. 140 damage x 1.6 (super effective damage) is 224, so Crush Grip does "super effective damage" to almost all types but rock, ghost and steel since they resist normal type moves… Which is why its actually really good overall. Rated #7 overall attacker next to fused Kyurem's. Scopely/Niantic buffed it since it couldnt do normal super effective damage.
