This small, mysterious Pokémon is said to have first appeared in the dreams of sleeping children before eventually being observed in the real world.
It is said that Cosmouse uses its psychic powers to travel between the stars and the spirit realm, spreading gentle dreams wherever it goes. Its body, light as air, seems to softly shimmer in the darkness, and its spiral-shaped tail is actually a conduit for capturing mental waves.
Despite its harmless appearance, it can create powerful psychic mirages to defend itself or disorient its opponents. Some researchers believe it originates from another dimension, which would explain its deep connection to dreams and outer space.
Its large, deep eyes resemble a starry sky, within which shapes can be seen that recall galaxies, planets, and constellations.
Staring into Cosmouse’s eyes for too long is said to plunge some Trainers into a state of deep reverie or intense meditation.

Redesign of an initial test sketch; still not fully satisfied with the pencil work. Uncertain proportions, with a focus on reworking shading and lighting.
Background reworked to give more space to the Fakemon.
