It's because it giving you same message but you already got the exp so it says 0 exp.
i been getting same message with friend requests as well i already accepted friend requests but it saying they sent it again after i done the raid with them.

it seems like the app is getting constant updates from the server telling it about some event which causes +0xp to show again and again. Like something is stuck and constantly retrying causing a constant stream of +0xp events. Maybe hitting a milestone with one of your friends on your friends list of something?
You have reached the integer limit for Exp which is (2,147,483,647) and looking at your total Exp you have reached this cap twice.
Now what is happening is that after the first 2.147 billion Exp the system wraps the number around to the minimum possible value which is -2,147,483,647 and starts ounting from there. It's an integer overflow.
He played so hard, even float numbers escalate, i feel you with this being distracted bro hope they fix it soon i wish i could reverse engineering this issue

Did some math. Your XP should fit in 33 Bits, 2^33, which means they must be using 64Bit register size so there should be no issues advancing your XP. In my OPINION they may have capped the XP for anti cheat measure. Not sure. They may analyze and lift or change the cap after they review your XP gains. Who knows.
I've had the same issue after the game updated and no pokemon spawning what so ever on my map is completely empty

I have it where everything has a black box around it – pokeballs, CP on Pokémon in gyms, pokestops, friends images etc. So annoying!
Maybe u have to do a software update on your apple pad and then see what happens?
