I know this game was rather divisive on release, but it's been out of early access for two years now and has molded itself into a pretty fun lifesim. If Animal Crossing's burning you out or you're a Disney fan, it's a solid cozy alternative.
It ran like utter goddamn dogwater on Switch 1 with all the updates tanking the console's performance (there are now like 50 villagers for free, and a bunch more via DLC) so this improved port will be much appreciated. Quests and decorating and character interaction galore and monthly events to boot; perfect time to hop in I reckon if you're new.
