I got back into collecting last year and am having a great time so far. I've been mainly focusing on the SV 151 set and picking up some singles/boosters across sets. I got back in again due to nostalgia but I'm enjoying a lot of the new cards for artistic reasons.
I recently picked up this collection from a family member who fell out of the hobby and I'm wondering what to do with it. I really enjoy the OG Pokemon, so I've been thinking about focusing on the OG 151 pokemon from different collections but I don't know if that's a slippery slope and unrealistic 😅 I'm still trying to understand all of the different collections and sets, so please don't feel you have to spend time explaining all of that 😁
I'm curious if/how other people defined what they are collecting? Its easy for me to end up buying anything/everything so I want to try and set my self some clear direction this time around!
